Probe Hudhud relief measures: YSRCP

Hyderabad, Jan 25: YSR Congress Party has demanded a white paper on the foreign tours of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and an inquiry by a sitting judge into the relief operations carried out in the Hudhud Cyclone hit north coastal districts. “While the farmers are unable to get fertilizers in open market, Chief Minister has been on foreign jaunts and the people should know how much was spent on his trips and what is the outcome. This apart the relief and rehabilitation works in the three north coastal districts has been a disaster and we demand an inquiry into it by Vigilance Department or by a sitting judge,” party leader Tammineni Sitaram told reporters here on Sunday. The State should publish a white paper on the expenditure of Chandrababu Naidu’s foreign trips, the agreements signed abroad and the investments that would be flowing into the State. The State has miserably failed in addressing the problems of the Hudhud Cyclone affected people and we demand that an inquiry should held by the Vigilance Department or a sitting judge to bring out the true picture.
