Chandrababu to flag off 100 new RTC buses on Republic Day

Vijayawada, Jan 24, 2015: Andhra Pradesh transport minister Sidda Raghava Rao has ruled out privatisation of APSRTC. He told reporters here on Saturday that the Government has no intention of privatising the RTC. "Instead, we will develop the organisation to make it accident-free and profitable ," he said, adding that the organisation is getting more buses. Raghava Rao said that RTC has acquired 100 new buses and will be flagged off by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on Republic Day on Jan 26. "RTC will get 700 new buses in Feb / March, " he said and added: "It will take another two months to divide the APSRTC."
