Obama's trip to Agra cancelled

Lucknow, Jan 24: US president Barack Obama and his wife Michelle's visit to Agra has been cancelled, according to Uttar Pradesh government officials here on Saturday. Earlier, reports from New Delhi said Obama was planning to cancel his trip to Agra, though there was no official confirmation till now. Obama was originally scheduled to visit the Taj Mahal on January 27 along with his wife, Michelle. UP officials has only just now confirmed the cancellation of Obama's Agra visit. According to government sources in New Delhi, “It’s possible that he might leave India earlier.” The official sources, however, said no reason has yet been given for the possible cancellation of Obama's Agra visit.
