AP-Swiss Consortium panel renewable hybrid energy soon: Chandrababu
Davos, Jan 22: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu here on Thursday announced that a joint committee of AP officials and a Swiss Consortium is expected to be set up soon to prepare a master plan in key technology clusters of Smart villages, Smart cities, water management and renewable hybrid energy solutions.
Chandrababu made this announcement after a meeting with Swiss Solar Technology Consortium (SSTC) members on “Enablers for Smart Cities”.
It may be recalled that the chief minister is currently participating in the World Economic Forum’s annual summit in Davos. In this connection, he is said to have met leaders of the Swiss Cleantech Industry and other businessmen.
Latest reports said AP officials and the Consortium members will soon sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in this connection.
The consortium members are believed to have told the chief minister that their industry had the expertise and the needed technology to support the CM’s plans.
