CBI interrogates Manmohan Singh in coalgate

New Delhi, Jan 21, 2015: The CBI had interrogated former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on his role in the Coalgate scam, particularly with reference to the allocation of Talabira-2 coal block to Hindalco in 2005, according to reports in a section of the national print media. Along with Manmohan Singh, CBI had also interrogated two senior bureaucrats B.V.R.Subrahmanyam and TKA Nair, who worked as Personal Secretary and Principal Secretary to Manmohan Singh respectively. The reports said that the interrogation took place two days ago at Manmohan Sing's residence but CBI officials were tight lipped over the reports.
