Foundation stone to be laid for IIM in Vizag today

Visakhapatnam, Jan 17: Post bifurcation, the foundation stone is going to be laid for one of the 11 promised national educational institutions, Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in Visakhapatnam today, according to sources. The function will take place today on 538 acres of land allocated for the establishment of IIM at Gambhiram, which is 30 km from Vizag. Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC) has allocated the land for the national institution. Apart from AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, union ministers Smriti Irani, Venkaiah Naidu, Ashok Gajapati Raju and Sujana Chaudary are expected to take part in the foundation laying ceremony.
