Petrol and diesel prices to be cut by Rs 2

New Delhi, Jan 15: For the 9th time in the recent past, petrol and diesel prices are to be cut by Rs 2 per litre, government sources said on Thursday. With global oil prices crashing to nearly six-year lows, Indian oil companies are planning to pass on the benefit to the consumers. Fuel prices were last slashed by Rs 2 per litre on December 15. Depending on global crude prices, oil firms review fuel prices every fortnight.
