Suspecious death case registered following Chakri's mother's plaint

Hyderabad, Jan 15: Jubilee hills police have register a suspicious death case under IPC section 174 following a complaint filed by late music director Chakri's mother Vidyavathi. Vidyavathi questioned the circumstances under which her son died in her complaint. According to the complaint, Chakri's family has reasons to believe that his widow Sravani killed him. In their complaint, Chakri's mother is said to have told police that Sravani had warned them several times on phone. She is even said to have threatened to kill Chakri on two occasions. Chakri's mother and other family members urged the police to collect call data before framing charges on Sravani. Police are investigating the case.
