Naveen Patnaik gives away his ancestral property to Govt

Bhuvaneswar, Jan 13, 2015: Odisha Chief Minister and Biju Janata Dal president Naveen Patnaik , known for his simplicity, has proved yet again that he is a people's man. He has donated all his ancestral property worth Rs. 10 Cr to the Government. He had registered all his properties in the name of Government at a Cuttack Registrar's office on Tuesday. Naveen Patnaik , who made an entry into politics in 1997 by launching Biju Janata Dal, took oath as Chief Minster of the state for the fourth consecutive term in May last. Naveen Patnaik, who is always seen in white kurta and Pyjama, is perhaps the only Chief Minister in India who is not facing allegations of corruption.
