Tirupati to get self cleaning e-Toilets

Tirupati, Jan 13: The Municipal Corporation of Tirupati (MCT) is getting ready to introduce the state-of-the-art, fully automated e-Toilets in the temple city. A private company named Eram Scientific has developed the toilets and they are to be set up at three arterial junctions in Tirupati – Central Bus Station and Vishnu Nivasam (opposite to Railway Parcel Office). A third unit is expected to come up at Urban SP Office near NTR Circle. Municipal Engineer B. Chandrasekhar said each unit costs Rs.5.5 lakh.
