Tirupati by-election on Feb 13 :EC

New Delhi: Jan 13, 2013: The by-election to Tirupati assembly constituency will be held on Feb 13. The Central Election Commission, which announced the dates for Delhi Assembly elections, has also announced the schedule for the by-poll of Tirupati assembly constituency. By-poll for Tirupati was necessitated as TDP MLA Venkataramana had passed away of ill health. The Election Commission has said Tirupati by-election will be held on Feb 13 and counting of votes taken up on Feb 16. The elections for Delhi assembly will take place on Feb 7 and the counting of votes on Feb 10.
