Will AP Govt dare to remove illegal villas built on Krishna banks?

BJP MP Gokaraju built his mansion violating rules: Reports

Vijayawada, Jan 11, 2015: The state Government has ordered a survey over the illegal constructions, mostly luxurious villas and guest houses built over the Krishna river flood banks by influential political leaders in Krishna district. Though the Government's motive behind ordering the survey is not yet known, observers are wondering whether the Government would go to the extent of removing them in the process of building the riverfront capital city for AP. Most prominent among those who built luxurious villas on Krishna river banks is BJP MP Gokaraju Gangarju who is a highly powerful RSS functionary and wields much clout with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and RSS bosses, according to reorts. After Gokaraju Gangaraju built his illegal guest house , hundreds of such villas have come up along the river front in Krishna district and are confident that Government would not touch them. All these structures have come up in complete violation of River Conservancy Act. Earlier, a survey had been ordered by the previous Congress Government over the illegal structures but no action had been taken. Already, Lok Ayukta and Pubic Accounts Committee have questioned the existence of these structures and asked the Government why no action had been taken to remove them. It is to be seen what the Government will do after the survey is complete.
