TS woman abandons 4 daughters at Kalyan station

Mumbai, Jan 9: A woman from Mahbubnagar town in Telangana state is reported to have abandoned her four daughters at Kalyan railway station in Thane district near Mumbai of Maharashtra putting local police in a difficult situation. The local police has been desperately trying to locate the woman for last two weeks, but in vain. The four girls are aged between three and nine years. The girls are named Mahalaxmi (3), Akhila (5), Sapna (7) and Rajeshwari (9). According to local police, they had located the father of the girls and had spoken to him. However, he has been refusing to take them back.
