AP disburses Rs 13 cr for 'Sankranti Sambarulu'

Rajahmundry, Jan 9: Andhra Pradesh Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu announced here on Friday that the government has released Rs 13 crore for the purpose of organising 'Sankranti Sambarulu' in the state. The minister said the department of culture is said to have released Rs one crore for each of the 13 districts in the state for 'Sankranti Sambarulu'. Speaking to media persons after reviewing the arrangements made for the event with district's officials, the minister said competitions will be held in rural sports from January 13.
