Every Hindu woman must have 4 children: BJP's Sakshi Maharaj

New Delhi, Jan 7: The 58-year-old BJP parliamentarian from Uttar Pradesh, Sakshi Maharaj, is reported to have said that every Hindu woman 'must' produce four children. Speaking at a religious gathering in UP, Sakshi Maharaj said, "A Hindu woman must have at least four children. Give one to the army, another to us religious leaders and teachers," he said. Commenting on this statement, Congressman Sanjay Jha said, "According to BJP MP Sakshi Maharaj, Hindu women ought to have four children. Even children are part of BJP's grand electoral arithmetic."
