$ 1 lakh disappears from Ongole tobacco merchant's bank account

Ongole, Jan 6, 2015: Ongole police have registered a case and launched investigation into hacking of $ 1 lakh from the account of tobacco merchant Challa Srinivasa Rao here. Srinivasa Rao, owner of Anjali tobacco trading company, has lodged a complaint saying an amount of $ 1 lakh, deposited by a Chinese company, has simply disappeared from his bank account. Ongole police officials said they have launched investigation with the cooperation of cyber crime police and are hopeful of nabbing the criminals. Srinivasa Rao's company has been involved in tobacco export business for the past few years.
