Stones pelted at Eatala Rajender’s convoy

Nalgonda, November 1: With only a few hours left for Munugode  bypoll campaign to close, high tension prevailed at Palivela of Munugode mandal on Tuesday. Miscreants pelted stones at BJP leader and Huzurabad MLA Eatala Rajender’s convoy. Several BJP activists were injured in the attack. Window shields of several vehicles were damaged.
 
Eatala fired on the police that they remained as mere spectators when assailants attacked his convoy with stones. 
 
Its reported that the attack took place during the campaigning by TRS and BJP leaders. Both TRS and BJP activists attacked with sticks and stones. Police dispersed them and controlled the situation. 
 
Election Commission took the Palivela incident serious and issued orders to send additional force to the village immediately. The EC ordered the police department to strengthen security as election campaign will conclude in a few hours. 
 
Responding to the incident, Minister Jagadish Reddy alleged that BJP is afraid of its defeat and resorting to such heinous attacks. He requested the TRS activists not lose their patience and will take action as per law.
