‘We are alive’
Srikalahasti, October 31: A love couple, who went missing nine months ago, posted on social media platform that they are very much alive.
According to information, Tagore and Lalitha live in Srikalahasti. Their daughter Chandritha has a love affair with Chandrashekar of Ramapuram, Srikalahasti. Chandashekar works as a volunteer and he was already married and has a son. Chandritha and Chandrashekar eloped on January 10 this year.
On October 20, an unidentified, bloated woman’s body was found in Telugu Ganga canal near Kovanur, KVB Puram mandal. Based on the birth marks on the body, Chandritha’s parents clarified that it is Chandritha. They demanded to punish Chandrashekar, who was responsible for their daughter’s death.
Meanwhile, on October 22 a man’s body was found near Bandamanukalva in Yerpedu mandal. Police called Chandrashekar’s parents, who didn’t turn up. Then they called Chandritha’s parents, who confirmed that it was Chandrashekar.
Police suspected foul and shifted the two bodies to Srikalahasti mortuary to conduct DNA tests. Meanwhile, Chandritha’s parents declared that they will not take the body till justice is done.
In this situation, Chandashekar and Chandritha posted a video on social media platform, stating that “We are safe and happy. Coming soon to Ramapuram. All news about our death are just rumours.”
