TTD hundi counting: Man, who hide cash in mask, nabbed

Tirumala, October 26: A man was nabbed while trying to steal cash by hiding in the mask, during hundi counting of Tirumala Parakamani. 
 
According to information, a bank employee Dileep was a contract employee and was engaged in Tirumala temple hundi counting. After the counting was completed, he stuffed Rs 2,000 notes worth Rs 94,000 in his face mask and tried to escape. Vigilance officers suspected foul and ordered Dileep to remove his mask. When he removed mask, Rs 2,000 notes were found out. The vigilance officials took him into custody.
 
It came to know that this is not the first time Dileep resorted to such crimes. Earlier also, he did petty thefts, but none took action against him. Dileep, who has been working as contract employee with TTD, resorted to irregularities in laddu counter also. But no action was taken against him then.
