Dil Raju-Vamshi Paidipally's ‘Varasudu’ with Vijay makes Rs 275 cr pre-release business
Hyderabad: It is reported that Amazon Prime has acquired the OTT rights of 'Varasudu'. There are rumors that a huge price of around Rs 60 crore has been paid for the streaming rights. Sun TV has offered Rs 50 crore for the satellite rights.
It is reported that the overseas and Hindi dubbing rights will fetch Rs.70 crore. It seems that the top music company has paid Rs.10 crore for the audio rights. Rs 32 crore for Hindi dubbing rights and other talks are in the final stages for Rs 32 crore business in Kerala, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
The pre-release business of more than Rs.275 crore before the release of the ‘Varasudu' movie is noteworthy. Rashmika Mandanna is playing the heroine in this movie. Prabhu, Sarath Kumar, Shyam, Srikanth, Prakash Raj, Yogi Babu and others are playing key roles.
Vijay sang a song in 'Varasudu' and it will be released soon. When it comes to Vijay's career, he will do a film with Lokesh Kanakaraj after 'Varasudu'. As this is Lokesh's next film after 'Vikram', there are huge expectations for this project. Vijay should do a film with Atlee. After Lokesh's movie, there is a possibility that these two will work together.
