TDP leader Kotla follower Siddhappa murdered

Kurnool, October 19: Former Central Minister and TDP leader Kotla Suryapraksh Reddy’s main follower Siddhappa was brutally murdered in Kodumuru on Tuesday. 
 
Siddhappa, native of Kunnuru, Gonegandla mandal, was in Kodumuru along with his followers. Rival group attacked him with sickles and killed him as per preplan. 
 
Siddhappa was accused in the murder case of TDP leader Kappatralla Venkatappa Naidu in 2008 and also in three murders that took place in Kunnuru village. For the past some time, he was taking refuge in Kodumuru.
 
Police are suspecting that Siddhappa was murdered due to old rivalry. Local police filed a case and shifted the body to Kodumuru health centre for postmortem.
