Criminal case filed against JC Prabhakar Reddy
Anantapuram, October 19: Once again a criminal case was filed against Tadipatri Municipal Chairman and TDP leader JC Prabhakar Reddy. Also, cases were filed on 13 TDP activists, over their alleged attack on YSRCP leaders with swords in Juturu village. Five TDP leaders were arrested in this regard.
TDP and YSRCP activists attacked each other over a land issue on Monday in Juturu. Several people were injured including TDP leaders Narayana Reddy, K Narayana Reddy and Suryanarayana Reddy. While Erragudi Rammohan Reddy, Vinay Kumar Reddy, Satyanarayana Reddy, Ramasubba Reddy and Prathap Reddy of YSRCP were severely injured in the clash. Police dispersed them and shifted the injured to Tadipatri and Padda Pappuru government hospitals.
Following the clash, tense situation prevailing in the village and police deployed heavy security to avoid any untoward incidents.
YSRCP leader Erragudi Rammohan Reddy filed a complaint with the police alleging that JC followers attacked them. Following this, police filed a case on JC Prabhakar Reddy as the main accused and another 13 people.
