Rail coach restaurant opened at Guntur railway station; caters to food lovers
Guntur: DRM R Mohanraja said that it is a pleasure to inaugurate the Rail Coach Restaurant (Restaurant on Wheels) on the east side of Guntur Railway Station for the convenience of not only train passengers, but also common citizens.
The DRM inaugurated the restaurant on Monday, which was developed in the train coach in the east circulating area of the railway station. Speaking on the occasion, he said that Guntur Railway Division has made this coach restaurant available with an innovative idea. This is the first time in the South Central Railway zone that a rail coach was developed into a restaurant.
In this multi-cuisine restaurant, hygienic and quality food will be available round-the-clock. It is commendable that an old train coach has been transformed into a restaurant with all amenities and air conditioning. ADRM R Srinivas, Senior DCM V Anjaneulu, ACM TH Prasada Rao and others were present during the inauguration.
