TS CID chief injured, wife dies in mishap

Hyderabad, October 11: The wife of Telangana CID Director General of Police was killed and two others were injured in a road accident in Rajasthan on Monday.
 
According to police, Crime Investigation Department (CID) DGP Govind Singh and his wife Sheela Singh Jatav (56) went to Rajasthan to have Mateswari Tanotarai Mata darshan. While they were returning, the car in which they were travelling turned upside down near a temple in Ramghad area of Jaisalmer district.
 
Sheela Singh died on the spot and DGP Govind Singh received minor injuries. Car driver Vijayendar and another person were also injured in the mishap.  The injured were shifted to hospital and sources said that DGP health is stable. 
 
A case was registered and police are investigating.
