YSRCP leader hacked to death

Hindupur, October 9: Unidentified assailants murdered YSRCP leader Chowlur Ramakrishna Reddy on Saturday night at Chowlur village. 
 
According to police, Ramakrishna Reddy reached home at 9 pm on Saturday. Three persons, who were wearing masks and waiting for him, attacked Ramakrishna Reddy with sickles. They hit him brutally on head, neck, hands and legs and escaped. 
 
Locals heard Ramakrishna’s shrieks and rushed him to Hindupur Government Hospital. Bu the doctors confirmed that he was dead already. One Town CI Ismail and rural CI GT Naidu visited the hospital and enquiring the details.
 
The deceased wife and son are in Bengaluru and they were informed about the incident. 
 
Ramakrishna Reddy had strived for the party since its inception and had strong hold in Hindupuram mandal.  MLC Mohammad Iqbal condemned the murder of Ramakrishna Reddy and said that party lost a great leader. He requested DGP Rajendranath Reddy and district SP Rahul Dev Singh over phone, to nab the killers immediately.
