Man from Andhra shot dead in US

Hyderabad, Jan 3: In a shocking development, a Telugu man named Paruchuri Balagopal, succumbed to fatal injuries after he was shot at by unknown miscreants on Saturday near Meridian beach, South Carolina, United States, according to reports reaching here. Balagopal had hailed from Challapalli mandal of Krishna district. He was involved in running a gas station in South Carolina. According to reports, the miscreants had come to rob the gas station. When Balagopal resisted they opened fire at him from close range. Balagopal succumbed to fatal injuries. His friends are believed to have informed to his family members about his death. His family and friends are making efforts to bring Balagopal's body to India.
