Water woes: TS has neither experience nor expertise, says Devineni
Hyderabad, Jan 3: Andhra Pradesh Irrigation & Water Resources Management Minister Devineni Umamaheshwara Rao said since Telangana government has no clarity on the use of Nagarjunsagar and Srisailam waters, it is mismanaging the water resources.
Speaking to media persons, the minister said the Telangana government was facing a lot of problems because it neither has the experience nor the expertise to handle water resources.
Criticising Telangana Irrigation Minister Harish Rao for slamming the AP government, Minister Uma said Harish Rao misguiding the farmers of in his state on the issue of water sharing.
Minister Uma claimed that Telangana had wrongly used 49 tmc in excess. Therefore, he said, AP farmers will be facing problems in future.
