KCR became Adipurush by changing TRS into BRS: RGV
Hyderabad, October 5: Tollywood sensational director Ram Gopal Varma, popularly known as RGV, responded on Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) renaming his party TRS into BRS on Wednesday on the auspicious occasion of Dasara festival.
In a tweet, RGV said that KCR became first Adipurush by changing TRS to BRS. He welcomed him into national politics. However, netizens are confused as to whether RGV praised or criticised KCR by describing him as Adipurush.
The word ‘Adipurush’ is trending on social media after release of ‘Adipurush’ trailer featuring Prabhas in the lead role. Despite trolls on costumes and looks of Hindu deities in teaser on the internet, it garnered more than 100 million views in 24 hours.
Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra raised objection over costumes worn by Hindu gods and goddess in the movie. Adipurush, a mythological film based on the Ramayana, helmed by Om Raut is slated for release on January 12, 2023.
