Man dies after a hitchhiker gives injection

Khammam, September 20: Giving a ride to a stranger had cost a man his life in Mudigonda mandal in Khammam district on Monday.
 
According to police, Shaik Jamal Saheb (48) of Bopparam village, Chintakani mandal in the district, was going to Gandrayi village, Jaggayyapet mandal, AP on Monday, on a bike to get his wife, who has been staying with their daughter. 
 
When he reached Vallabhi village, Mudigonda mandal, two strangers stopped his bike. They requested to give lift to one of them to get petrol for their vehicle. Jamal Saheb along with the stranger started the bike and after going for some distance, the pillion rider gave injection on the back of Jamal. The victim felt giddy and stopped the vehicle. Meanwhile the stranger jumped off the bike and escaped from there.
 
Jamal asked the onlookers to call his wife and fell unconscious. He was rushed to a hospital, where the doctors declared as he was brought dead. 
 
Police inspected the spot and found out syringe. Following a complaint by the victim’s son-in-law, Khammam rural CI Srinivas registered a case and took up investigation.
 
The accused apparently killed Jamal as per pacca plan as they stopped Mysayya, who crossed them before Jamal and asked for lift. Though Mysayya offered lift, they send him away.
