No link with Delhi liquor scam: YSRCP MP Magunta

Ongole, September 19: Denying link with Delhi liquor scam, YSRCP MP from Ongole Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy said on Monday that his family was involved in liquor business for the last 40 years. Speaking to the media here, the MP revealed that his relatives did liquor business in only two zones from the total of 32 in Delhi. “Every businessman associated with liquor business in Delhi suffered losses,” he mentioned.
 
Magunta made it clear that he and his son are not directors in Delhi liquor business. “We clarified doubts when the Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials searched my house and office,” he said and condemned the news of ED sleuths taking key documents as evidence from two locations.
 
To a question, the MP said that he will no fault the agencies probing liquor scam. “We have no political rivalry with any person,” he stated. The YSRCP leader said that his son Magunta Raghava Reddy will contest for Lok Sabha from Ongole in 2024 elections.
