How a book helped Mahesh Babu quit smoking!

Hyderabad, Dec 2: Not many know that Telugu film industry's heartthrob and super star Mahesh Babu was once a chain smoker. The star, who is yesteryear super star Krishna's son, is believed to have tried very hard to quit smoking, but in vain. Finally, thanks to a self-help book written by Allen Carr, Mahesh Babu said good-bye to his nicotine addiction. Sources said, one of Mahesh's friends gifted him the self-help book and after reading it the star quit smoking. Ever since then, Mahesh is believed to have resolved not to smoke on screen too as it could send wrong messages to his fans.
