Hyd: TRS leader snatches mike, obstructs Assam CM from addressing public

Hyderabad, September 9: Tense situation prevailed for some time as TRS leader Nandu Bilal climbed on stage set up by the Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsav Samiti (BGUS) at Moazzam Jahi Market here on Friday and snatched mike when Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma was about to address the public and entered into an altercation with him.

Immediately, the BGUS members caught Nandu and handed over him to police. At this juncture, heated argument broke between the BJP and TRS leaders. Later, the Assam CM continued his speech.

Responding over the incident, TRS MLA and Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav alleged that the BJP is trying to rake up communal violence in peaceful city of Hyderabad by allowing Assam CM to speak filthy language. “Being in a responsible position of CM, Sarma should have limited his talk for the purpose which he was called for,” he adviced. Talasani condemned the language used by Assam CM.
