Actress Divyavani meets Eatala, expresses interest to join Telangana BJP

Hyderabad, September 8: Senior Tollywood actress Divyavani met BJP MLA Eatala Rajender at latter’s residence here on Thursday and expressed her interest to join Telangana BJP. In a video, the actress is seen interacting with Eatala, who also heads BJP Joining Committee.
 
Divyavani had joined the TDP before the 2019 Assembly elections and worked as an official spokesperson. She actively took part in agitation opposing three capitals proposed by the YSRCP government. However, she was unhappy with the TDP top leadership for not giving her a chance to speak at Mahanadu held in May 2022.
 
The actress-turned-politician openly expressed anger over the TDP leaders for not allowing to meet TDP national president N. Chandrababu Naidu and tendered resignation to the TDP. She stayed away from media glare for the last two months. Interestingly, Divyavani decided to join the Telangana BJP when she was active in Andhra Pradesh in her previous stint with the TDP.
