Andhra MP's PA arrested for breaching HM Amit Shah security

Mumbai, September 8: The Malabar Hill police arrested a person on Tuesday for trying to get close to Union Home Minister Amit Shah when latter visited the residence of Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis at Malabar Hill here. He was sent to five-day police custody.

Cops grew suspicious about Hemanth Pawar’s behaviour and caught him. He was found wearing a fake Home Ministry identity card so that no one suspect him. The 32-year-old belongs to Dhule district.

During the investigation, Hemanth claimed that he worked as personal assistant to a MP from Andhra Pradesh in the past. The police stated that he has a pass to enter into the Parliament. Cops are verifying as to whether he worked as PA to MP or not.

It was the first visit of Amit Shah to Mumbai after Eknath Shinde became Maharashtra Chief Minister and Fadnavis Deputy CM. The probe revealed that the accused was also spotted near the residence of Eknath Shinde.
