Talasani hits back at Bandi, says KCR govt made all arrangements for immersion

Hyderabad, September 5: Responding to allegations of Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar, Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav on Monday said that the TRS government made all arrangements for immersion of Ganesh idols.

Talking to reporters here, he stated that 39 Ganesh pandals were erected in the limits of Hyderabad, Rachakonda and Cyberabad Police Commissionerates.  Three months ago, an extensive review meeting was held to ensure smooth conduct of immersion, he said and mentioned that several rounds of meetings were conducted since then.

Talasani said that festivals are being organised on a grand scale after K. Chandrashekar Rao became chief minister of Telangana state. “BJP should stop politicising festivals,” he adviced and added that several ponds were set up at different locations for immersion of idols.

The minister criticised saffron party leaders for saying that they will make arrangements for immersion if the state government fails to do so. “Can BJP provide police security in large number on immersion day,” he asked.
