Police nab ‘Hyper Boys’ gang

Visakhapatnam, September 5: Vizag police took a gang, which is roaming with ganja and weapons, into custody.
 
According to police, they got information about some suspicious persons moving with deadly weapons at Urvashi centre in Kancharapalem on Saturday midnight. They rushed to the spot and found out Dumpa Ramakrishna, Alamuri Kartik, Nilau Syamala Rao, N Suresh Paul, Kondaarti Ashok, Dumpa Ramana, S Chandu and Lekkala Janardhan, who were carrying six kilo ganja. Police took them into custody while three persons managed to escape. 
 
According to information, the accused formed a WhatsApp group under ‘Hyper Boys’ and doing settlement business. They support the accused. For example, if a person cheats unemployed youth and collects money by promising jobs, but didn’t provide jobs. If the victims question the cheater, then this gang will support the accused. The cheaters are reportedly paying huge amounts to this gang and asking them to settle the issue.
 
Also, it was said that in case people, who took money from money lenders, do not return, then the money lenders will seek this gang’s help to recollect the loan amount. This gang will threaten the people, who took loans, and will collect more than the loan amount. 
 
Police reportedly conducted raids following a victim’s complaint.
