IIT Hyderabad: M Tech second year student from AP commits suicide
Hyderabad, August 31: A second year M. Tech student of IIT Hyderabad committed suicide on the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday by hanging to a cot in his room at E-Block on the campus. He was identified as Rahul. Fellow students informed authorities about Rahul’s suicide. In turn, police were alerted.
After registered a case, cops shifted the body to Sangareddy government hospital for post-mortem. The police seized Rahul’s laptop and investigating the reasons for suicide. They are trying to open the laptop with the assistance of IT experts for cracking the case. The police also questioning his close friends and faculty members to know as to what made him to take extreme step.
Rahul hails from Nandyal town in Andhra Pradesh. On hearing suicide news of their son, his parents broke down and they will be reaching Hyderabad soon. After post-mortem, police will hand over dead body to family members.
