Revanth alleges Rs 50 cr scam in appointments
Hyderabad, August 28: TPCC chief A Revanth Reddy demanded action to be taken against those, who resorted to irregularities in the appointments of Ramagundam fertilizers factory. He requested to help the family of the youth, who committed suicide for not getting the job.
Revanth alleged that local MLA Chandar and Minister Koppula Eshwar have collected Rs 6 lakh to Rs 15 lakh from over 800 jobless youth for the recruitments of temporary jobs in Ramagundam factory. The duo assured the unemployed youth that the jobs will become permanent and they can sell the jobs to others also, Congress leader said and added that about Rs 50 crore transaction took place in this regard.
The TPCC chief said that the new jobs appointment contractor in Ramagundam had removed half of the earlier employees. Harish Goud of Ammalapuram village, Kesavapatnam mandal, became depressed after losing job and posted a selfie video and committed suicide by jumping into a well.
Revanth pointed out that since Chief Minister KCR is visiting Ramagundam, officials have shifted Harish’s body to Karimnagar, conducted autopsy and handed over the body to the family members.
Revanth demanded the government to give jobs to those, who were removed, and to give Rs 50 lakh ex gratia to Harish family and job to one of his family members.
