Vizag tipplers guzzle down liquor worth Rs 15cr on New Year's Eve

Visakhapatnam, Dec 2: On New Year eve tipplers in Visakhapatnam guzzled down barrels of liquor boosting the coffers of cash-strapped Andhra Pradesh by Rs 15 crores, sources said. They confirmed that liquor sales zoomed up by almost Rs 5 crores in comparison to last year. This is quite surprising because north coastal Andhra is yet to recover after Hudhud cyclone struck the region causing widespread destruction. No one expected tipplers of this region, specially of Vizag, would recover so fast and have a spirited time and guzzle down liquor by the barrels.
