OTT releases: List of upcoming movies, web series in August last week
Hyderabad: Movie buffs used to search for films, which will be released in the theatre every week. But now, the trend has changed. Apart from theatre, movie lovers also are waiting for films release on OTT. Moreover, they are also searching for various new web series that are being made by international, national and regional OTTs.
During the Covid, there was a boom in OTT with the closure of theatres. The majority of them are hooked to OTTs to watch newly released films, but also reality shows, web series et al. A few films of top stars were released on OTT during the pandemic.
Many OTTs paid huge sums to stars and made web series, which became massive hits. Among them is ‘Family Man’ and ‘Family Man 2 in the latter Samantha played an important role for which she earned an appreciation.
