Komatireddy Venkat Reddy sets condition to campaign for Munugode by-election
Hyderabad, August 18: Congress MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy to set a condition before the high command to campaign for the Congress candidate in Munugode by-election. He made it clear that he will campaign for by-poll if he is entrusted with the responsibility of a star campaigner.
Venkat Reddy, who is unhappy with the style of functioning of TPCC president Revanth Reddy, has decided to meet Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi and sought her appointment. He wants to explain to Sonia as to how he was humiliated by the Telangana Congress leaders at a public meeting.
On the other hand, even senior Telangana Congress leader Marri Shashidhar Reddy is planning to meet Sonia. On Wednesday, he said that Revanth’s unilateral decisions are causing damage to the Telangana Congress. “Telangana Congress affairs in-charge Manickam Tagore is acting like an agent to Revanth,” he alleged and added that Revanth is running office parallel to Gandhi Bhavan.
