AP Govt issues GO identifying 122 Sq Km as Capital city
Hyderabad , Jan 1, 2015: Andhra Pradesh Government has on Thursday issued a GO recognising 122 Sq km as the capital city in a massive 7068 Sq km of area proposed to be collected from farmers through land pooling system.
The rest of the area in the 7068 Sq km is recognized as developmental zone, according to the GO number 1 issued by the Government.
Outlining the rules of land pooling in the GO, the Government has said it will take construction for a green field capital city between Guntur and Vijayawada.
The Government has also revealed that it is going to take up the construction of three more mega cities and 14 smart cities in the state.
