Will AP take the gauntlet thrown by TS on EAMCET?

Hyderabad, Jan 1, 2015: In a new twist to the EAMCET dispute and throwing a challenge to AP, Telangana government has offered to conduct the test for the students of both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana through its Higher Education Council ( TSCHC ). The AP government has yet to respond to the proposal made by the Telangana government. Asking the AP government to include its representative in the admissions committee to oversee the process of conducting the common test and admissions for the students of both states, Telangana Government said proper steps could be taken in this regard immediately if the AP Government agrees to the proposal. "Otherwise, we will conduct the EAMCET for our students separately, " TS government said curtly in a statement.
