Gun firing hulchul in Munugode
Munugode, August 5: Gun firing on Thursday night created ruckus in Munugode of Nalgonda district. This incident gained prominence that took place in Munugode, which became the central point after local Congress MLA Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy resignation. Doubts raised about political angle behind the incident. But police denied such allegations.
According to information, unidentified persons in a bike followed Nimmala Lingaswamy (32), who was going on a bike and fired three rounds at him near Singaram village on Thursday night. Lingaswamy, resident of Brahmanavellamla village of Narkatpally mandal sells cool drinks and water bottles and also into real estate business. The miscreants thought that Lingaswamy was dead and escaped from there.
Some persons, who heard the firing, informed the police, who rushed to the spot and shifted Lingaswamy to Narkatpally Kamineni hospital. Now the victim’s condition is stable.
Police found out a bullet at the spot and started investigation.
Nalgonda DSP Narsimha Reddy visited the victim at the hospital. Lingaswamy reportedly told the DSP that he is suspecting a real estate businessman and a few others for the attack.
