ICCC is brainchild of DGP Mahender Reddy: KCR

Hyderabad, August 4: Addressing a gathering after inaugurating the state-of-the-art Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC) here, Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) said ICCC is brainchild of DGP Mahender Reddy.
 
KCR said that construction of ICCC delayed by two years because of the pandemic. Showered praises on the Police Department, KCR saluted cops who were responsible for setting up Greyhounds, SIB and counter intelligence wings for maintaining law and order in the state.
 
The CM recalled as to how to pulled out the APSRTC from losses with the support of the then IPS officer V. Appa Rao, who served as RTC MD, when he was Transport Minister. 
 
KCR requested the DGP to invited former DGPs of combined Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states to invite them to lunch at ICCC and seek their advices in improvement of policing. Ministers Talasani Srinivas Yadav and Mohammed Mahmood Ali, Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar and other officials were present.
