Advocate murdered in Mulugu

Mulugu, August 2: Advocate Mulagundla Malla Reddy (58) of Hanamkonda was murdered by unidentified persons on Monday in Mulugu.
 
According to police, the advocate went to Mulugu Collectorate over legal issues on Monday and was returning to Hanamkonda at around 6.30 pm. The accused following the advocate in a car dashed his vehicle near Pandikunta bus stage of Mulugu mandal from behind. Malla Reddy went to them and asked why they dashed his car. One of the accused sought apology. When Malla Reddy was returning to his car, four persons dragged the advocate to the nearby bushes and stabbed him to death. Meanwhile, another two persons hold the car driver of the advocate. Later, the five accused escaped from there.
 
Mulugu SP Sangram Singh G Patil, ASP Sudhir Ramnath Kekan and other police officials inspected the murder spot. Mulugu SI Onkar Yadav said that they are investigating the case from all angles and special teams were formed to nab the killers.
 
According to information, Malla Reddy has been visiting Mulugu Collector and Tahsildar’s offices over land issues in recent tiems. Malla Reddy has farm lands and quarries and petrol bunk business in Mallampalli village of Mulugu mandal. There were cases regarding these lands in the court. 
 
Malla Reddy has wife and two daughters.
