Ex-CM Kiran Kumar Reddy likely to join BJP

Hyderabad, Dec 31: The last chief minister of a united Andhra Pradesh Kiran Kumar Reddy is all set to join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the presence of that party's national president Amith Shah, according to sources. Shah is scheduled to visit Vijayawada on January 29, the sources said. If rumours are to be believed, the BJP had agreed to admit Kiran Kumar Reddy into the party. The former chief minister, who is silently suffering humiliation at present, is one of the few persons who unsuccessfully fought to keep the state united.
