Engg student dies after falling from hostel building

Hyderabad, July 24: In a tragic incident, an engineering student died after accidentally falling from the second floor of the hostel building in Hyderabad on Saturday night.
 
According to information, Ramya (21) of Wanaparthy, was studying B Tech third year in Sri Datta Engineering College in Ibrahimpatnam, Hyderabad. Her father works as driver of Shobhan ready mix vehicle and the family lives in Uppal. But Ramya was staying in a private hostel at BN Reddy Nagar as college is far from the house.
 
After coming from college on Saturday, Ramya was talking wither her friends by sitting on the railing of the balcony on the second floor. Suddenly she lost balance and fell. She received severe head injuries and rushed to hospital. Doctors declared that she already died due to severe blood loss.
 
Police booked a case and took up investigation. 
 
Ramya’s parents alleged that the mishap occurred due to the negligence of the hostel management.
