Two brothers electrocuted in Anantapur

Anantapur, July 18: Two brothers, who were farmers, died due to electrocution in Udegolam village, Kanekallu mandal in the district on Sunday. 
 
Village former sarpanch Yellappa sons Ramesh (34), Devendra (28) and Vannuru Swamy were doing joint farming. The trio on Sunday morning went to the fields to water the saplings. Ramesh pressed the pipe of the motor, which was loosely connected and Devendra switched on the motor. Suddenly Ramesh was received electric shock. Devendra tried to hold him and both of them fell on the motor and got electrocuted.
 
Vannuru Swamy also tried to save the duo, but he too received shock and fell unconscious. After some time, he regained consciousness and informed the family members. 
 
They rushed to the spot and took the three brothers to hospital. The doctors declared that Ramesh and Devendra were already dead. After providing primary treatment, Vannuru Swamy was shifted to Ballari for better treatment.
