Woman accuses Marredpally CI of raping her at gun point
Hyderabad, July 10: In a shocking incident, a woman accused Marredpally CI of raping her at gun point in her house in Hyderabad. He reportedly threatened her and her husband also, who arrived at the same time, to kill. The incident occurred two days ago and came to light on Saturday.
Police said that a case registered against Marredpally CI K Nageswar Rao for alleged rape and criminal trespass. Police Commissioner CV Anand placed the CI under suspension, who is at large.
According to police, the accused Nageswar Rao has agricultural land on the outskirts of Hyderabad. The CI employed the victim’s husband to work in his fields, whom he enquired in a case four years ago. The couple lived at another place. When the CI asked the victim to come to the farm house, she told her husband. The husband warned the cop over phone of informing this to his wife. The cop apologized to the husband.
But the CI as retaliation summoned the husband to Taskforce office in Secunderabad and took pictures of him after placing ganja pockets in his hands. He warned the victim’s husband of filing case. Later, the husband left the job at CI’s fields and living at Vanasthalipuram with wife and children.
On July 6, the CI called the victim and told her that he is coming as her husband was out of city. She immediately informed the same to her husband, who replied that he will come. Meanwhile, on July 7 night, the CI went to her house and raped her at gun point. The husband reached the house while the police was still in the house and beat the police with a stick.
The CI threatened the couple of killing and took them forcibly in his car and went towards his farmhouse. Car tyre burst near Ibrahimpatnam. The couple managed to escape and went to police.
Meanwhile, CI Nageswar Rao on Friday filed a complaint with Ibrahimpatnam police that his car met with an accident.
